About Us

Why We Started Outloudly?

Half a year ago, we were just two people trying to get our voices heard.

Jerry had just completed a deeply personal, speculative design project—an AI-assisted social system for introverts. It was poetic, technically complex, and full of emotional nuance. But when it came time to exhibit it at NYCxDesign and share it with the world, we found ourselves struggling.

Not with the work itself—but with getting it seen.

We wrote a press release.

We reached out to journalists.

We searched for platforms that might care.

And still, it felt like shouting into the void.

The media landscape is noisy, fast, and often favors performance over substance. For people working in design, tech, or academic spaces—especially those doing quiet, meaningful work—getting visibility can feel nearly impossible.

After going through that experience ourselves, we realized we weren’t alone. We started to notice how many talented professionals around us—designers, researchers, founders, and immigrants building a future in a new country—were facing the same struggle.

So we started Outloudly.

What began as a way to help ourselves slowly turned into a small, focused effort to help others. We now team up with PR professionals, freelance editors, and media strategists who understand how to translate quiet work into clear narratives. Our collaborators have backgrounds in journalism, design writing, and visa petition support. Together, we help our clients get featured in places like Forbes, Entrepreneur, CIO Magazine, and more.

We’re not a big agency. We’re a small team that knows what it feels like to do good work. We believe thoughtful voices deserve to be heard—and we’re here to help make that possible, one story at a time.
